Trenching vs. Pipe Pulling

When it comes to installing underground systems, two proven methods lead the way: trenching and pipe pulling. Each offers unique advantages, and the best choice depends on the specific needs of your project.

Trenching is ideal for deeper and wider applications. This technique churns and lifts the turf to the side, to create a pathway in the ground. The open trench allows for easy access to the systems in the ground if they need to be serviced or inspected.

Pipe Pulling also known as trenchless installation, is a technique that pulls the pipe into the ground through a cut line and a pull head. This option is minimally invasive and leaves little damage to the turf, which makes it ideal for most landscaping projects.
