A Day in the Life
Walkthrough a day in the life of a Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT). Cooper walks us through a typical day in the field, working on irrigation system repairs, maintenance, and start-ups.
Every morning starts with a daily briefing with field supervisors and other irrigation technicians. He plans out his day, grabs the necessary materials, and organizes his service truck.
He visits three residential irrigation clients. His first visit requires a repair on an irrigation sprinkler head, caused by a root from a nearby tree. His second visit is system start-up with a new customer, where he reviews the status of an existing irrigation system. His last call is a mid-season visit, where he completes maintenance on a veggie and herb garden sprinkler system.
