Junior Service Technician (grade 12 or college students)
Wage: $16/hr - $17/hr
April – September, flexible start and end dates
Monday to Friday 7:30am – 5:30pm (approximately)

Responsibilities

• Apprentice under a Service Team Leader to develop skills and knowledge by asking questions, being hands on and taking initiative.
• Uphold Blue Jay standards of conduct, remaining professional in all interactions, keeping open lines of communication with customers and/or contractors.
• Attend company/department meetings.
• Use Service Titan software effectively, writing clear concise notes, tracking inventory, and hours.
• Must be positive, hardworking, and willing to work as part of a team, completing tasks assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (2022 candidates must graduate or have already graduated)
• Must have the ability to take direction and think critically, with the ability to problem-solve.

Working Conditions:

• 10-hour days/ 50-hours a week.
• Extended schedules may be necessary at times.
• Working outdoors in the elements, lifting up to 50lbs
• Extensive travel is required (company vehicle)
• Ability to sit, squat, kneel, stand, walk, or dig for long period of time.
• Full range of body movements required including reaching, crouching and hand dexterity.
